The History

The consortium API Engineering was established in 2015 from the vision of three companies already well-known in the Italian panorama of the industrial engineering sector: A2G scarl, ITI srl and Progetto 10 scarl, immediately setting itself the goal of developing a new multidisciplinary engineering reality with experience in the industrial plants sector and with particular experience relating to energy production plants, both from fossil and renewable sources, including nuclear plants, oil & gas plants, petrochemical plants and large infrastructures. Each member, specialized in its own discipline, allows API to offer a highly qualified integrated multidisciplinary engineering service. In 2017, the company STI srl was added, providing technical support services to the other members and thus allowing API, thanks to the experience gained, to represent today a reality highly appreciated by large Italian and foreign clients in the sectors described above.www.iti-srl.com) e Progetto 10 scarl (www.progetto10.it), ponendosi fin da subito l’obiettivo di sviluppare una nuova realtà di ingegneria multidisciplinare con esperienza nel settore degli impianti industriali e con particolare esperienza riferita agli impianti di produzione energia, sia da fonti fossili che rinnovabili, compresi gli impianti nucleari, impianti Oil&Gas, petrolchimici e grandi infrastrutture. Ogni consorziata, specializzata nella propria disciplina, consente ad API di offrire un servizio integrato di ingegneria multidisciplinare altamente qualificato. Nel 2017 si aggiunge la società STI srl, fornendo servizi tecnici di supporto alle altre consorziate e permettendo così ad API, grazie all’esperienza maturata, di rappresentare ad oggi una realtà molto apprezzata dalla grande committenza sia italiana che estera nei settori sopra descritti.

Establishment

Each company that is part of the consortium API Engineering, by virtue of over thirty years of experience, has consolidated its skills and expertise with its highly specialized staff, so as to stand out among the most accredited engineering suppliers on the market as leaders in the disciplines of expertise of each.

Specifically:
– the company A2G s.c.a.r.l., for the civil, structural and HVAC engineering part;
– the company I.T.I. s.r.l., for the development of electrical engineering, Automation & Control and Telecommunications;
– the company Progetto 10 s.c.a.r.l., specialized in Piping, Process, Stress Analysis, Machinery and Package engineering;
– the company S.T.I. s.r.l., in technical support services for the other consortium companies.

The consortium is represented by the legal representative in the capacity of President, who is assisted by the board of directors that oversees strategic choices and supervises the operations of the management body which is responsible for the development of activities and ordinary management.

Organization

The experience gained over time has allowed API to count on teams of collaborators and professionals organized in work groups for the development of multidisciplinary engineering assigned to the various projects acquired in the core business sectors of the consortium.

The work teams that are set up for the development of the acquired projects are composed of personnel from the various departments, each coordinated by a technical manager designated for each discipline. Each discipline manager communicates all the progress made to the appointed project manager, who is responsible for coordinating the multidisciplinary activities and interfacing directly with the customer.

This structure, created specifically for each acquired project, allows API to satisfy every need from customers in a widespread and rapid way, offering them a high-quality service both technically and organizationally, customized and integrated in a timely manner to the needs and peculiarities of the project itself.

The Offices

Since its inception, the API Engineering consortium has operated in Rome in two different locations.

The first, which is also the registered office, is located in Viale Luigi Schiavonetti, 270, and covers an area of approximately 1,100 square meters and coincides with the operational headquarters of the consortium members A2G scarl and Progetto 10 scarl.

The second location is in Via Dora, 2 with an area of 450 square meters and also represents the operational headquarters of the consortium members ITI srl and STI srl.

The Mission

The philosophy that has always distinguished API's work is based on a deep belief in the power of teamwork, aimed at consolidating a homogeneous work group, appropriate to the type of client and project, without ever neglecting the valorization of individual skills and recognizing the diversity of the individual person and including them in a team context.
The ultimate goal to which API tends is always to maximize the value of the service offered, providing excellent, timely and intelligible performance. The work is constantly performed in close contact with customers so as to ensure effective support in sharing problems and choosing solutions and with the aim of guaranteeing the best combination of quality, efficiency and costs. Creativity, efficiency, dynamism complete the API profile ensuring a flexible and effective approach to problems.

By virtue of the organization now tested over the years that includes project coordinators with specific knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering, API offers its customers the possibility of having an interlocutor who coordinates each phase of the activities, thus allowing them to benefit from an excellent project management methodology.

The theme of efficiency is, to date, particularly felt and paid attention to by all major customers. Aware of this, API pays even greater attention to building a customized work group, with the aim of guaranteeing the best combination of quality, effectiveness and costs.
